Conference Room Wall
Print Media Design
When Overstock moved into its new headquarters, the design team was tasked with creating engaging visuals for the otherwise plain conference room walls. Each room was themed based on the CEO’s philosophies and ideas. One standout design was for the "Ham Room," inspired by a story Patrick Byrne often shared about his mother cutting the ends off a ham because that’s what her mother did. When he asked his grandmother, he learned it was simply because the oven was too small. This story emphasized the importance of questioning long-standing practices. My design for this room visually captured this lesson, creating a fun, thought-provoking space that aligned with the company’s values.

The second room was dedicated to HTML, honoring the foundation of Overstock.com. For this room, I incorporated actual HTML markup from the original website, built in 1999, to create a visually striking design that celebrated the company’s early digital roots. Both designs brought character and meaning to the workspace while staying true to Overstock's story.
